Before you get started
These articles might be helpful before you read further:
Discovery cards are the blocks of information that are displayed to end users on forms after the forms are submitted. These discovery cards are helpful because they show end users exactly what they might need to know to take their next best action.
These cards can be configured to display whatever information might be most helpful for your use case. The information displayed on these cards is based on the Insight Cards field set on the Discoveries object.
Navigate to Setup -> Object Manager -> Discoveries -> Field Sets -> Insight Cards to configure which information will display on the cards.
Any field from the Discovery object can be added to the cards. Some basic examples of information you might add to the cards would be Discovery Name, Score (Absolute), Description, etc. You can also create formula fields on the Discovery object to further customize what information is displayed on the cards. Remember, Discoveries are related to the Form record so it's perfectly feasible to create a cross-object formula to use fields from the Form record and display them on these insight cards. The same is true for other objects. If the Discovery is related to Accounts, Contacts or any other record, the information from those records could be displayed on the Discovery cards via formulas as well.
An example of a formula field that is used on Discovery Cards can be seen below:
