In template builder you can choose the behavior of the Delete Icon for users while they interact with linked sections. When configuring your linked section, on the Section Details tab Delete Icon Visible? can define the delete icon's visibility to:
- Always - This is the default value. This value will always give delete access to form users on the respective linked section.
- Never -This value will never give delete access to form users on the respective linked section.
- Only for new records - This value will give form users delete access only to new records created while using the linked section.
The Delete Icon respects a user's object permissions for the object targeted in the linked section. For more information on how the Delete Icon settings and Object Permissions interact refer to the chart below:
