We are extremely excited to be launching our Pilot version of Youreka’s new Mobile App. Over multiple releases, our team reimagined and rebuilt the App with a better foundation that leverages leading mobile technology and plugins.

You might be wondering why we spent over six months rebuilding a great app that thousands of field workers use daily, for years. Continuously, Youreka researches and applies the most current innovative technology, which is necessary given the light speed that mobile tech improves and adjusts. We are committed to keeping you and your teams ahead of the mobile tech curve. The new app will future proof us for years to come and allow us to deliver what you, our customers, need quicker.

The Rollout Plan

The new Youreka app is in the Pilot stage. We recommend testing initially in Sandbox environments, then using limited pilot user groups in production.

Starting with Newton, all new features and innovations will be in the new app only. The current app will be supported until mid-2023. By this time, and to prevent service interruption, customers need to migrate to the new app.

Multi-Language Support (New App only)

Youreka Mobile offers out of the box translation for Spanish (español), French (français) and German (deutsch)! Mobile workers around the world can use Youreka’s forms and guided procedures in their native or preferred language.

Leveraging Salesforce custom labels, you can add translations for any Salesforce supported languages and override text in the mobile app to meet your business needs and terminology.

How to Setup

1. Admins enable “Data Translation” in the Salesforce org
2. Users login to the Salesforce org
3. Click their Profile
4. Select their preferred language

Flexible Lookup Search (New App only)

Field Link Lookups enable more flexible searches to help find the right data among thousands of records. For example, when field team members fill out a form, the process to locate the accurate record is easier by using the flexible search function instead of scrolling through records.

Use Case

On a form, when searching for the right Asset in a Field Link Lookup it will use a “contains” search. i.e., if the Asset name is ASSET_123_567 the user can search for ‘123’ and will find any assets that contain that string. This will remove the need for entering the full Asset name to find the needed record.

When searching for a record based on the serial number, entering the last 4 digits quickly finds the correct record.

How to Setup

For all new customers on Newton this will be enabled by default.

For existing customers this will be disabled when upgrading to Newton.

To change go to Setup->Custom Settings->Youreka Public Settings and enable/disable the ‘Flexible Lookup Search.’

New Industry Focused Accelerator Templates

Benefits

The goal of Youreka’s Accelerator packages are to help customers get immediate value for their investment with prebuilt fields, objects, automation, mobile field sets and form templates all included within the package. Our comprehensive list of Accelerators with templates an be found here.

This release includes 3 new packages: Construction and Real Estate, Public Sector, and Communication, Media, and Technology.

• The Construction and Real Estate Accelerator has 15 templates, including Job Estimators, Property Inspections and more.
• Public Sector Accelerator offers 20 templates, including Office Audits, Park Inspections, Water Assessments and more.
• The Communications, Media, and Technology Accelerator has 20 templates including Wireless Surveys, Internet Self Install Checklists, Antenna Assessments and more.

There is also a Human Resources Template Repository that includes 10 available templates including Employee Attestation Forms, Feedback Forms and more.

New Extension Packs

Benefits

Extension Packs are solutions that help accelerate the Youreka implementation process. Extension packs that typically include fields, flows, formulas reports, flows and more to provide customers with production quality use cases within minutes.

This release includes 2 new packages: Easy Form Load and Output Styling.  Easy Form Load is a Salesforce Flow that allows you to drop in a .csv file of questions and it will convert those into a Youreka Form Template with Sections and Questions in minutes. Output Styling is a premium extension pack that allows you to take your completed Youreka Forms and push them into a well branded customizable PDF document using SDocs.
